This is a guitar tabbed fill that simulates the bluesy banjo in the song to give it some more feel. I also play this song in Drop D tuning to get the lows, and then just eliminate the low D string in the G and A chord. I think it works pretty well, and it's pretty easy to play--let me know any questions or corrections. To play the fill you must first finger the D chord shape like this to free up your ring finger for the hammer-ons, bends, and pull-offs. The (R) in the tab denotes the use of the ring finger for the notes on the A string and mid D string to eliminate any confusion of a possible barre chord being played.
