Key: ~ Let Ring h Hammer On p Pull Off ! Listen to song for strumming pattern NOTES: Anywhere you see '!' means to listen to the song to figure out the strumming pattern...you'll probably have to listen to figure the stums out...unless someone can suggest a good way to notate them for me so I can fix it...like I said, any questions, hit me with an email and I'll try to answer as best I can. Also, the 'B5' chords in parentheses in the verses are there for note to the acoustic guitar player...for instance, the bass player would not play a 'B' note there, it's just a place for the acoustic guitar player to add a little flash. The chords don't always match up with what the acoustic guitar is playing, those are just the chords WITHIN which the acoustic player is playing...for instance, I have the 'xx4477' chord notated as a B5, but a standard B5 is 'x244xx'...they're the same chord, more or less, but to play what the acoustic guitar player is playing on the album, you'd have to follow my tab rather than the strict chords that are written...that's why I split the two chords up and called one 'B5 inv. 1' and the other 'B5 inv. 2'. If you're serious about playing this song but need some help (as yes, this song IS confusing, to me, even reading my OWN tab...it's intended as more of a roadmap to 'Over And Over' enlightemnent, if you will), I'd be happy to get in a voice chat in AIM or YIM and jam out, maybe help you learn it...toss me an e-mail and give me your screen name and what program and I'll log on and we can chat about it some. Also, on the chord 'D/F#', if you have a hard time with it (I do), try using your thum to play the low 'F#' (2nd fret on the low E string) while playing a 'D'...helps me, anyways... One last thing, and I hate to feel like I have to say it, but I feel like I need to...questions and comments are welcome and encouraged, I love them, but anything seriously negative like 'this is the worst tab I've ever seen' or 'you suck at life' are gonna get a) deleted and b) you banned...people put a lot of work into their tabs, including me, and no one appreciates their effort stepped on by someone who didn't take the time to tab out their own interpretation of the song. If you see soemthing in my tab you disagree with or think is incorrect, rock on, tell me, I want to have a perfect tab here. But it's when I get comments (happens all the time, and it sucks) like 'Why do you bother?' and such, it gets to me, so I'd appreciate if those could be kept private. Hokay, no more soapbox now. All the B.S. aside, please enjoy *my* interpretation of one of my personal favorite songs of all time by a legend in the living, Pat Green. Happy Pickin'!
