Capo on 1st fret

Capo on 1

I play the D, G, and A this way out of preference, I find it an easier swap from the Bm to a barre G and from
the barre G to a barre A, and the D just sounds higher in the song, so I play it higher up the frets, feel free
to use a regular D, G, and A chord, it'll sound basically the same.

Listen to the song and you'll get a pretty quick feeling of how the strumming goes.

The intro Bm is only played for a short time, listen and you'll hear it.

INTRO
D D Bm G D

verse 1
D
People keep talking
    Bm G
But I can't hear a word they say.
D
Life just keeps moving.
    Bm G
The world gets stranger every day.

            D
And, yeah, 'Time is on your side' â??
                   Bm
That's what people tell you
       G
But I got to let you go.

Chorus
D
My head is saying that this is for the better.
D Bm
I just want you to know â??
                           G
I can't hold on forever
                                  D
When all I wanna do is let go,
                      Bm G
All I wanna do is let go.

verse 2
D
Sirens are screaming
    Bm G
But I can't hear a single sound.
        D
And I'm feeling uneasy,
      Bm G
And I wait, and I wait for a change to come around

Chorus
D
I get the feeling that this is for the better.
D Bm
And I just want you to know â??
                           G
I can't hold on forever
                           D
When all I wanna do is let go.

Ooh, ooh, yeah.
                      Bm
All I wanna do is let go
     G
Ooh, ooh.
