I play an Fmaj9 because it suits the melody better but I think on the record
with the full band they just play an F major chord. An easy way to think of
an Fmaj9 and a nice way to play it is like you're playing the chord as a C/F
If that doesn't work for you then an F chord can get the job done.

Intro: Am F F/G C

Verse
           Am Fmaj9 Dm G Abdim
I keep my dirt on the surface so you don't gotta dig
     Am Fmaj9 F/G C
The people that make me nervous, try to hide all their sins
    Am Fmaj9 Dm G Abdim
And I've got no reason to cover my tracks
     Am Fmaj9 F/G C
The best part of learning is just loving where you're at

C Em7 F G So love where you're at, yeah love where you're at Abdim Am Fmaj9 F/G C And keep your dirt on the surface and just love where you're at
